Hi everyone! I’m Laura and I’m here to share with you one of my biggest passions: makeup.
Da qualche anno ho cominciato a "studiare" questo mondo, soprattutto grazie a YouTube e a makeup artists come Clio, Giuliana, Lauren Luke e tante altre. Come molte di voi, ho iniziato a seguire i loro consigli e a metterli in pratica su me stessa e non solo. Chi di voi non ha mai truccato una sua amica, sorella o mamma per divertimento? Per me era anche un modo di mettere in pratica tutta la teoria assorbita negli anni, non solo un semplice passatempo. E così, più andavo avanti, più approfondivo le mie ricerche; ho cominciato a seguire altri makeup artists (soprattutto inglesi come le Pixiwoo, Wayne Goss, Lisa Eldridge), a leggere blog ed informarmi su nuovi prodotti e tendenze.
A few years ago I started “studying” this world, especially thanks to YouTube and to makeup artists like Clio Zammatteo, Giuliana Arcarese, Lauren Luke and so on. Like many of you, I began to follow their advice and put them in practice, not only on myself. Who has never tried to do a friend's (or your mother's/ sister's) make up? For me it wasn’t just a hobby, but a way to practice everything I’ve learnt over the last few years. The more I went on, the more I deepened my researches; I’ve started following new makeup artists (like the Pixiwoo, Wayne Goss, Lisa Eldridge), reading blogs and searching for new products and trends.
Dopo la laurea mi sono trasferita per 6 mesi a Londra per
seguire un corso d'inglese e non mi sono lasciata sfuggire l'occasione di
andare all'IMATS. E' stata una giornata indimenticabile, poichè ho avuto modo
di vedere all'opera diversi professionisti, soprattutto di body art e special
effects e di parlare con alcuni di loro (tra cui la talentuosa Karla Powell).
Da quel giorno ho capito che quello era il mio mondo e ho cominciato seriamente
a pensare di diventare makeup artist.
After my graduation, I moved to London for 6 months in order to attend an English course; so I couldn’t miss the opportunity to go to IMATS. It was a special day, since I' ve seen lots of experts “in action”, especially in body art and makeup-FX, and I spoke to a couple of them (including the talented KarlaPowell). That day I’ve really understood what my element is, so I began planning to become a makeup artist.

Ma dal sogno alla realtà la strada è molto più lunga e complicata, anche se sto mettendo tutta me stessa per realizzarlo. E con questo blog vorrei lasciare traccia di questo percorso, condividendo le mie esperienze, recensendo prodotti, parlandovi delle tendenze e molto altro. Il mio scopo è quello di esservi utile e, soprattutto, di spingervi a realizzare il VOSTRO sogno, qualsiasi esso sia!
But the way between my dreams and reality, is longer and harder than I thought, even though I’m putting all my efforts in fullfilling them. And with this blog I’d like to leave a trace of my path, by sharing my experience, reviewing products, talking about trends and so on. My aim is to be useful for all of you and, above all, to push you to achieve YOUR dreams, whatever they are!
